This Saturday a few guys from Clover Airsoft team, Steven and myself (Evan), went out to a local play at a really cool new field near York, SC.
This was an abandoned industrial space with a massive warehouses, multi-room buildings, and other structures that felt like it was right out of a Call of Duty Map. This map included an incredibly cool open cat walk with multiple stairwells and ladders, a load of cars, trucks, and other industrial junkyard-esque cover, and some really cool concrete structures around the field.
Steven ran his HPA MP7 (.32g BBs at 1.5J), and I ran my Wolverine MTW setup as more of a DMR (LVPO Optic, .45g BBs, 1.86J). This map could easily handle everything from a sub 1J SMG to a 3J+ sniper as there were long lanes of open area, as well as lots of indoor and close quarters engagements. It all depended on the route you took.
Overall, this was an incredibly fun field and a fun day of airsoft! With a little development in some of the more open areas, this could be an incredible field!
